With tablets getting more and more popular, netbooks are beginning to feel the jitters. There are studies that tablets are beginning to eat into the market share of netbooks.
But as a person who just recently bought a netbook, I think netbooks don’t have anything to worry about. There are still a number of things that tablets don’t do as well as netbooks and it may take a number of iterations before tablets develop the necessary technologies or features that will be enough to replace netbooks. Just ask any writer who writes tons of articles. A netbook’s keyboard is still a huge benefit to them compared to the virtual keyboards of tablets.
